Training and certification: To get ICDL certified for each module you normally do the training, then take a diagnostic test (good practice for the certificate test) followed by a certificate test at an Accredited Test Centre.
Certification of existing skills: If you already have the desired skill level for some modules, you can confirm this by taking a diagnostic test straight away, before booking for the certificate test.
