New ICDL training: Office 2016, Windows 10, Digital Marketing

Greater availability of internationally recognised ICDL courses has to be good for New Zealand, with recent research by Randstad (20/2/2017 press release on Stuff) showing

  • 50% of employed New Zealanders say they need more digital skills for future employability and
  • 68% say employees at their current employer do not have the required digital skill sets

Latest Microsoft software training

Internationally recognised ICDL courses available in New Zealand now includes Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 2016 versions of six popular Base and intermediate training modules.

Modules available in the new versions are:

  • Computer Essentials (Windows 10)
  • Online Essentials (Microsoft Edge/Outlook 2016)
  • Word Processing (Microsoft Word 2016)
  • Spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel 2016)
  • Presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint 2016)
  • Using Databases (Microsoft Access 2016)

These new versions are available now as workbooks, with online courseware scheduled for release in later this year.

New Digital Marketing module

This intermediate level module covers digital marketing, including creating a web presence, optimising content for search engines, using social media platforms, carrying out online marketing and advertising across a range of services, as well as monitoring and improving campaigns using analytics.
